Jodi is a hardworking and dedicated entrepreneur who is passionate about building homes that fit the desires and lifestyles of her clients. Nothing is as fulfilling to her as bringing the dreams and ideas of her customers to life through renovations, new home builds, landscaping, interior design and more.

Jodi now primarily focuses on providing customers with start-to-finish custom home design and construction using her trusted contractors who aren’t afraid to think outside the box. Always an optimist, Jodi is excited to see what the future holds for Square Structures and what types of houses her clients will dream up next.

Modern home design is all about minimal design with maximum impact. We use natural light and customized details to inspire your senses and personalize your home. If you can dream it, we can build it!

our process

step by step

01. preliminary planning & design

This is where we get to know each other. This is a casual no-pressure meeting to gather info, get some direction, and see if we are a good fit. If you like what you see, we meet again and further define the project. A wish list and Pinterest pictures are a great way to understand what you’re looking for and gives us a good starting point.

02. construction drawings & permits

All our projects start with a blank slate and are uniquely based on the land/lot and your needs. At this stage, we are developing floor plans and walking you through every room to ensure it works for you. Then we create exterior elevations and colour renderings to help you choose products and visualize the final look. Once we nail down these details we will submit for permits and enroll your home with the New Home Warranty Program.

03. build

We want your house to show your personality on the inside as well as the outside, so you are an integral part of this process. With our app, you are able to see real-time progress, check in on your project, and stay in open communication with us as our crew is building your home. To learn more about our app, click here.

after possession

then what?

We are 100% committed and stand by our work. That’s why we include a built-in warranty that includes a 1-year material and labour warranty, 2-year mechanical system warranty, 5-year building envelope, and a 10-year structural defect warranty. This is to ensure your build maintains the integrity we intended.

We don’t disappear after your project is complete. We will always be available to take your call or answer your emails if questions or concerns happen to arise after possession.

We don’t just stop at the base build, we also offer finishing services including landscaping so you can enjoy your beautiful new home or renovation with a well placed and manicured yard and/or garden.

Need help furnishing or staging your home? No problem! We love to curate and match furnishings to your interiors for a complete look and feel that is sure to impress.

We chose Jodi and Ryan @ Square Structures to reno our 30-year-old house after we saw the beautiful floor plans they had designed for us to choose from. They managed to do a complete house reno in 3 months! They replaced windows, moved walls – everything. Jodi was on-site daily and was totally involved in every part of it, from helping the carpenters and other trades to sweeping up when needed. She made us a calendar that had the contractor’s schedules so we knew when things were happening. And she always answered her phone to address our questions or issues. All the contractors they used were great. And now we have an amazing brand new home that we absolutely love! Thank you Square Structures.
