The Thompson project is a 3243 square foot, fully developed slab on grade two storey open concept home.
The main floor is 2351 square feet with the master wing (comprised of the master bedroom, ensuite and walk-in closet). The master bedroom is warm and inviting, with a custom feature wall and private access to the hot tub. The ensuite has a large soaker tub, custom tile shower, double sinks and private water closet. The walk-in closet has custom metal rails, floating shelves with built in cabinetry.
The rest of the main floor does not disappoint. An open concept design, right from the time you walk in the grand front door. 10 foot ceilings through out with a 20 foot vaulted ceiling in the living room. A spacious, custom kitchen with a 12 foot island, floor to ceiling cabinets and a butlers pantry that accesses the bbq area outside. The kitchen is truly the hub of the house. The living room hosts a 50” lineal gas fireplace with large concrete tiles from floor to ceiling. A laundry room, powder room, office and a mudroom completes the main floor.
The final piece of the main floor plan is a sun room off the living room. This room has a wood burning fireplace, private entrance, wet bar and glass on all four walls. An entertaining dream! There is a large deck area on the west side of the house that has a custom metal pergola and hot tub. The deck areas are all accessible from the sunroom, dining room, and butlers pantry which enhances the indoor outdoor spaces.
The upper floor is 892 square feet with an open to below loft with 360 degree views, and 2 bedrooms, each with their own en-suites and walk in closets.
The attached garage is a 2 car garage with a tiled dog wash and a “dirty mudroom” as referred to by the client. Custom cabinets and shelving was installed to keep the work cloths and dirty foot wear contained. This house was built on an acreage so the windows were strategically placed to allow sun and a view from all rooms of the house!
